Jen Hill
Longworth is an innovation tech company with a 49-year history in proven, effective
reclamation of value waste streams. First invented in 2004 for reclamation of high value metallics, in recent years their worldwide DEECOM® pressolysis
technology has been increasingly applied to composites reclamation and been
found to recover pristine condition, high performance, continuous fibre from industry
and EOL waste, along with reusable elements from associated resins.
Jen brings a rare mix of strong commercial background and contagious passion for
sustainability. As elected board director and Vice Chair of Composites UK, Jen strongly feels that by pulling together in collaboration, the composites industry can accept and utilise recycled composites as an abundant advanced material in its own right, optimise reuse and reduce
global supply chain issues, becoming the go-to choice for lightweight material
selection, all while leading on sustainability in materials.
Jen will present DEECOM® pressolysis during the session
“Recycled Composites for Manufacturing Feedstock - Dispelling the Myths”.
