Named as one of the top 100 global influencers in Industry 4.0 by Onalytica, Ian has extensive experience in large-scale, high complexity digital transformation projects around Industry 4.0 and ERP. This includes Meggitt M4, The UK 5G Manufacturing Testbed, and SecQual trusted supply chain, which uses blockchain to reduce food waste from farm to fork.
Ian works for IBM as an Account Technical Leader. He chairs the Industrial Advisory Board for Sheffield University and is a board member for other University advisory boards.
He has been a finalist in The Times Managing Consulting awards (MCA). He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, member of IBM’s Academy of technology and a Distinguished Technical Specialist with The OpenGroup
