Andy has been working in VAT for over 35 years having started his career with HMRC where he worked for 5 years.  Since then he has worked for a number of Big 4 and Top 10 firms and a VAT consultancy specialising in cross border EU VAT.  Andy assists clients in a wide range of sectors and has extensive experience in supply chain optimisation ensuring businesses understand the consequences of the transactions that they carry out so that can trade effectively whilst remaining VAT compliant and minimising VAT costs.  Post Brexit, Andy has worked closely with colleagues in the customs team helping clients to manage the complexities of importing goods into the UK in the most efficient way taking advantage of reliefs where available.
