The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is an influential regional anchor organisation that brings together several local authorities, including Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton, to collaborate with key partners and businesses on important regional issues to drive positive change. This includes the delivery of the Plan for Growth, the strategy to boost economic growth in the region with a focus on high potential clusters and associated supply chains for Electric Vehicle and Battery manufacture, Aerospace, Logistics, Professional Services, Health and MedTech, Future Homes, Smart Energy, plus Creative Content and Gaming.
