Luke has worked in the automotive sector for 12 years, with a long-term focus on supporting the automotive manufacturing supply chain in the UK. As Head of Supply Chain at the SMMT (the UK auto sector’s trade body), his work involves building a strong understanding of the commercial challenges facing companies operating in the automotive supply chain, championing their cause, and developing interventions to support as much as possible.

Luke has led on several key initiatives including critical research to support the Brexit negotiations, delivery of SMMT’s Meet the Buyer programmes and helping develop and launch the post Covid Safe Harbour programme. He has a passion for the automotive industry, UK manufacturing and building its importance to the wider UK economy.
